Yesterday I met Amy + Kevin for their Pullen Park & Downtown Raleigh Engagements. They were both in Raleigh visiting Kevin’s family for Christmas and to find their venue for their 2016 fall wedding. And since they were both in from Texas where they are currently stationed in the Army, it was super important to have their engagement portraits done as well. I was so thankful that we didn’t have any weather issues. Since we literally had one day to get their portraits in.
In first meeting Amy + Kevin it was so easy to see that they’re a super laid back and fun couple. I loved how Amy introduces herself and Kevin and follows it up with “I’m excited even though I’m not too sure what I’m suppose to do and Kevin’s just here because he knows I’m excited”. Well literally 5 minutes into the session I go to ask Kevin to lean in and give Amy and kiss and BAM! Kevin smiles and leans in giving her a kiss without me asking. He’s cuddling and nuzzling with her! He even started to spin her around while wrapping his arms around her waist. Kevin seriously called Amy’s bluff! Because he was totally into this session! Which was perfect because I’m madly in love with their session!!
After shooting at Pullen Park we ended their session in Moore Square and walking along the cobblestone streets of Downtown Raleigh. I love just walking about and stoping at random spots that jump out at me. It pushes me to think on my feet and to challenge myself.
I’m so happy to share a few of my favorites with you! Enjoy!!
